Our School
Community Council Learning Academy (CCLA) is a licensed private academic school. CCLA provides academic and behavior support for students who require a full-time emotional support placement. We support grades 1-12 and ages 6-21.
Student Leadership
Here at CCLA, we support our students by building their academic skills and improving their self-confidence. through the implementation of a restorative approach, our students have been taught how to exercise their voice and advocacy. we encourage our students to be active members of their IEP teams and to take ownership of their learning.
Family Inclusive Practices
During the school year, the school implements celebrations during identified holidays and hold meet and greet sessions. our celebrations focuses on bringing all students and families together to show a sense of belonging, generosity, and pride. our annual harvest feast, award ceremonies, and talent shows, allows the school community to come together to celebrate accomplishments and promote expressions of skills & art.
Our Staff
Here at CCLA, our staff is committed to the success of the whole child. We recognize the challenges they face in the community and provide them with strategizes to help them cope with real life challenges. We hold our students, our parents, and one another accountable for meeting our targets. CCLA’s team focuses efforts on providing real support, in real time for the real world. our passion speak through our relationships that we hold with our students that extend far beyond graduation.
